Swap firsts + Foles for their #8? Not sure if we get the QB we want at #8. Not sure Miami would consider it.

Seems about right. And as there is really no cap gain to trading him, makes little sense to do so until there's another QB set to be added to the roster.

5th round pick and you get rid of the salary....Good deal both ways, Foles good back-up for Tannehill and Gase might think he can fix him.

It would save paying the $1.75M salary out (cash savings), but the cap savings are only $750K. And the Rams are paying him $6M next week regardless, so money doesn't seem like a reason to me.

I think we have to trade Foles and our 1st round pick for a player to be named later.
