Alshon Jeffery isn't going anywhere.
Pace said the Bears are "aggressively" negotiating with Jeffery toward a new deal.
"I sense he wants to be here," Pace said, according to the Chicago Tribune. "We're the team that drafted him. He loves the city of Chicago. He's comfortable in the O."
Pace added that he expects tight end Zach Miller and linebacker Shea McClellin to hit free agency, but they could come back on the right deals.
Jeffery, 25, is easily the Bears' most dynamic player with Matt Forte heading out the door. His age and track record make him an obvious player to build around, but there had been speculation the Bears were considering letting Jeffery hit the open market when free agency begins next month.
Pace made it clear on Wednesday that won't be the case.
