The 2nd tier league for a 2nd tier city. A marriage made in the rust-ville. They might have a hard time getting that name without a fight though.

Honestly I think Peacock and co should reach out to former Ram QB Bulger and see if he can open the doors for StL to be a expansion team for the MLFB in 2017. Who knows if perhaps the right people get involved in the mid market clubs of the MLFB, perhaps the NFL will buy up the MFLB and we can finally have a farm club system for the NFL. Anyway if I was StL I would reach out to a former QB and see if I could not become a expansion team in the 2017 season.

Don't know how they could afford to build the riverfront stadium without an owner kicking in 5-600 mill but whatever.
I'd have a favorite CFL team that's for sure

At present I think a year or two down the road that might not be the case their business model in my opinion is flawed and the best they can hope for is catch the NFL's eye and the NFL institute a farm system.

Isn't the NCAA (and Hy-Vee grocery store isles) the NFL farm system already. The talent pool in the NFL could get watered down a bit.
