Not sure they'd need to cut him because Jalen is imminent. Why not send him to Miami as part of the trade?

I'd guess it's either performance based or some news on DK is incoming...

I doubt he has much value. But like i said, doubt this is Jalen related.

Although, it does save about $3 mil in cap space if Rams are thinking about taking on a big part of Ramsey's contract so there is that angle...

Still they have $20 mil before cutting DK, they really that extra 3.4 to get a Jalen deal done?

Plus everyone is about to take 6 weeks off.

Yeah but they are also trying to sign Kyren as well and maybe others, will see.

I also dont think DK was going to play much.

They did this for DK as a courtesy, to give him a chance to hook up with another team before TCs start. He was never in the Ram's plan once he got benched.

Forbes looks to be everything DK isn't. Durant is starting to blossom once he got to play as his development was stunted for a year under Morris.

DK is strictly a backup in a zone system, lacking the athleticism to play man schemes. His first call will probably be to Atlanta.

Cam Lampkin is a player to watch in TC. He's got average size, and average athleticism but he plays beyond those metrics. He was a "trait" signing and looks like he could play as an in the box hybrid SS type of DB. IMO this is a huge TC for him. He may never be a starter but he most certainly can provide decent depth.

That said I think the Rams will be watching the waiver wire closely for another surprise release as they found Forbes.
