This has me a little worried. He dealt with this in 2022 and ended up on season ending IR.

This sucks. The DJ Humphries signing sure makes more sense now...

Terrible news, first I hope Alaric can get this under control.

But here we go again with the o-line and the most important position on that line LT.
I pray this isnt a repeat of 22 or last year with the early o-line issues. Literally injuries are our only risk this season, but a substantial one.

I do wish they had made one more young investment in an OT but that is under the bridge at this point.

Again? Didn't he have a problem with that a couple years ago? They gotta figure that shit out. It could be life threatening.

I agree! Our biggest weakness is not CB or ILB but what happens if we have injuries to the OL. Very hard to overcome that.

Jackson has gained well over 25 lbs since he was a rookie. Yes most is muscle but weight gain will affect someone with blood clot history. He may have to lose some weight to help control it. Moderate exercise is good for him but if he is going to weight train he needs medical supervision and possibly medication.

When I was working ICU at Balboa Hospital we would occasionally get Marines in. Most for obvious reasons took the medical out. But it's a condition that is life threatening. Jackson will have to make some serious decisions about his life going forward. One thing is certain even if he continues to play in the NFL the Rams also have a decision to make. They can't afford to tie up big money in him. Considering his past history it might have been a factor in why he's only signed for two years.

Too bad because it simply complicates things for him. Whatever position he chooses I wish him well. I've had friends with that condition and it really can change their life if it chronically flares up as it seems to with Alaric.

I would expect the Rams to carry him through this year whether he plays or not. Then offer him an injury settlement next year.

I think the Rams are going to look long and hard at Leveston at RT for next year, so LT is looking like a priority next year.
