I know most of us aren't excited by the idea of McClendon as swing tackle. Maybe the Rams aren't either...

a local San Diegan! (his HS has a deep water polo hx lol), starred at San Jose.. mostly a back-up in NFL, got him for the minimum rt?

Now I feel 10x better!!!
Getting an experience Vet as our swing tackle.

Not saying DQ is outstanding,
but he is way better than McC.

I'll compared DQ to Noteboom.
But I feel he is a way better pass blocker. IMO

I'm thinking McClendon will get released after camp. He is, by FAR, our weakest link on either side of the ball. I don't think Ques is nearly as good as Noteboom either, but we didn't want to pay Joe what he got on the open market. Note is quite talented, but he's so brittle and we couldn't count on him consistently being healthy. I think we just got a better back up RT than McClendon.

I will take Quiz over Joe. He literally cant make it through a game and IMO wasnt that good when he was out there in 2024.

Quiz took a beating against the Rams when he had to fill in on TNF.

Boom signed a $2 mil 1 year deal with Baltimore, doubt Quiz is much less than that but still, happy with the signing, trust the Rams a lot...

I just watch the tape against the Vikes and RAMs,
I thought he was doing pretty good,
Gave up either one or two pressure/QB Hit and half a sack to Verse.
out of 25 snaps, going against, Verse and Young,
Verse gave him the most trouble on at least three snaps.

I'm happy with this signing!!!
