I like what Snead & McVay have accomplished.

First acquiring a 1st for next year,
hopefully we don't see ATL winning more than 8 games,
the less the better.
Plus, hoping a team that has the 1st pick for 2026,
has a good QB already.

Then we could possibly trade for the first pick in 2026.
Having some type of combo of picks to trade with,
at least two first round picks in 2026,
and one 1st in 2027 for Arch Manning.

As for this season 2025, with the starting unit we have,
we are SB contenders.

2025 Acquiring drafted players:
*TE/Furgerson (Can see rotating in on 12PG)
*OLB/Stewart (Rotational Player)
RB/Hunter (ST)
*DT/Hamilton (Rotational Player)
ILB/Paul Jr (ST)
WR/Konata Mumpfield (ST)

*I can see playing as rotational players.

After the Draft, hopefully we can pick up a FA swing tackle,
unless McVay has confidence between, McClendon, Leveston or Arcuri for our swing tackles.

I'll give my grade from the Draft an A+,
because of getting a 1st rd pick for 2026
and at least three possible rotational players to add to a SB contending team.

What I liked was how they maneuvered the 8 picks they had into 6 picks they made.

They had: 1st, 3rd, 3rd, 4th, 6th, 6th, 6th, 6th
They drafted: 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 5th, 7th and got some studs

Gave up a 2026 4th rounder and gained a 2026 1st rounder

That is some slick dealing.

Totally agree, that's why I give Snead & McVay an "A+" for this draft.
I see at least three rotational players out of the six we picked,
because we are pretty deep, especially in the starting lineup.

Then getting a first for next year's draft,
in which it could put us in a good position to get Arch Manning.

The only weakness I see is, who is going to be our swing tackle,
will it be one of those I listed? or will we seek a FA is the question.

I think Chris Paul starts at ILB next to Speights. He looks special to me. Possibly Stewart in some rush packages. Ferguson has a shot at real reps and Hunter might too. But as Elvis has pointed out, rookie RBs don’t get a lot of love from MCV. The rest are rotational and STs guys as they develop.

And two first round picks next year is huge.

I don't think so, did you forget, we just sign Landman for ILB,
it will be Landman & Speights as starters.

As I stated, unless someone gets injured,
I only see three players as rotational players,
TE/Ferguson, OLB/Stewart & DT/Hamilton.

Which is a good thing, because that means we are pretty deep.
Even during the press conference, Snead even mention only drafting six players,
because we were deep. It's not like we needed to draft 10 to 14 players,
because as he stated, they wouldn't of make the team because we are deep.

My only exception about saying if we are deep,
is a swing tackle, do we have one on the team,

The issue with rookie RBs with the Rams is they aren't normally experienced in pass protection so until they prove themselves they are limited in how they can be used.

Everyone of these picks are basically for next year. At best they can be situational rotation guys. Their snaps may increase towards the end of the season if they show progress. That said they have some quality guys who can at least contribute on STs.

Like all rookies they need to adjust to the speed of the game. A situational rotational player this year can be a starter in 2026. This roster is essentially built. It's why they signed FAs like Ford and Landman to play immediately to fill crucial needs.

The bottom line is the roster will be better overall next year and the impact of this draft will be felt then. That said, Ferguson looks to be the most ready of all the rookies so he probably sees the most snaps this year.

Ty Hamilton is a very interesting player. If he develops like I think he will the Rams will have a solid NT/DT for a long time.

Hunter is exactly the type of RB this offense needs. Once he can become a starter, i.e. demonstrate his ability to pass protect, he's the kind of RB that brings a big play threat every time he's on the field.

Who knows? I haven't seen Leviston play. McClendon needs work but it's hard to be consistent when you're not consistently playing.

When Leveston was draft, he was drafted to be a Guard,
but who knows, maybe he could play as a swing since he was a LT for his college.
