Can't be that different because it still has the segmented numbers and font. But as a jersey collector. I'm in!! And a league wide one off gives us one more year before a rebrand with a new QB.

It will only be 8 teams this year, and we will only wear them for 4 years. They will add an additional 8 teams every year. First year is NFCW and AFCE. It really does sound like the City Connect series just rebranded as Rivalries for some reason. Here's the official media release:

Nike and the National Football League are announcing Rivalries, a new and exciting uniform and fan gear program that will give athletes and fans an opportunity to connect like never before. The program will elevate NFL rivalry games over the next four seasons, with specially designed Nike uniforms and fan gear. Rivalries will drive fan engagement by celebrating storied traditions and uniting communities with unique and elevated product designs.

"The NFL is home to some of the biggest football rivalries and today marks a historical moment for the NFL as we share 'Rivalries' with the world," said Renie Anderson, chief revenue officer at the NFL. "Together with Nike, we are harnessing the power of rivalry matchups to bring fan excitement and community pride to the next level. Through specially designed player uniforms and limited-edition fan gear, we will embark on a journey that inspires competitive spirit and reveals the winner in all of us."

The first wave of participating teams hail from the AFC East (Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots and New York Jets) and NFC West (Arizona Cardinals, Los Angeles Rams, San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks).

Each participating team will wear a unique Rivalries uniform with designs rooted extensively in local community insights during a single home game against a division rival. The designs have been brought to life by pulling inspiration from the history of each market and the aspects of the community that only that team's city embodies.

Following their reveal, these Rivalries uniforms will be included in their team's uniform lineup for three years after introduction, in addition to existing alternate uniforms. Teams from the AFC South and NFC North will debut their Rivalries uniforms in 2026, followed by NFC East and AFC West teams in 2027, and teams from the AFC North and NFC South in 2028.

This year's Rivalries uniforms will be revealed prior to the first rivalry game. Designated AFC East and NFC West Rivalries games will be announced at a later date following the 2025 NFL Schedule Release. Fans will be able to show their support by purchasing new jerseys, sideline apparel and fan gear, including T-shirts, hoodies, jackets and headwear.

Nothing brings football communities together like a good rivalry. They make athletes better, teams stronger and cities more united. Rivalries jerseys and apparel will be available ahead of the first rivalry game at Nike.com, NFLshop.com, Fanatics.com, individual team stores and other retailers. Rivalries jerseys and apparel will also be available across Canada, Mexico, Europe and Australia NFL Shop sites and select international retailers.
