Shedeur is only behaving like he's been raised...by an entitled father. Let's face it, it's more about Deion than Shedeur. Teams don't want their franchise QB thinking he has a "court of appeals" every time he doesn't like a team decision.

The worst thing Deion did was take his son "under his wing" instead of letting him develop on his own. Teams know how his father was and still is and want no part of it. In that regard Shedeur is acting like an entitled child. But again it was how he was raised. Too bad what a waste of a talented kid.

Excluding his father's presence...

does Shedeur have the elite talent that makes him worthy of being a 1st round pick?

I've never really watched him, so I don't know the answer to that. Certainly he's got the athletic ability. And he's got a huge fan in Mel Kiper, who had him ranked as his #1 QB overall.

So I'm mildly surprised he didn't go in round 1. No doubt the circus is not for every team, but I thought somebody would grab him.

Glad it wasn't the Rams, though.

I'll be honest, I think the whole "1st Round" thing is a bit over blown. There have been plenty of successful QB's not drafted in the first.

Is Sanders a starting QB talent? Yes. Does the have the magic to be a game changer on his own? I don't think so. Could he win a Superbowl if surrounded by the right talent? Sure.

But I really don't think the downside is worth it. How loud would the noise be if things went bad? I could not tollerate Deon talking shit about McVay if a season went bad. Trying to tell the world how McVay should be coaching.

And can we say Shedeur would have played as hard for any other team that wasn't helmed by his dad? Would he have taken as many sacks and gotten up? Or would he have pouted and sat on the bench? We can't say, and we can't know, and from hearsay it sounds like Shedeur has been a really entitled prick in his interviews so...... I just don't see his upside being anywhere near as high as his down side is low.

I said it in the draft chat, In and organization that has prided itself on NOT making noise, and on QUICKLY turfing those that do, would you really invite that kind of inevitable drama in? For what seems like a moderate NFL QB talent at best?

Isn’t it weird that for the QB position, it might have been all that entitlement and clout that put him in better training/playing/scouting situations. And now, on the biggest stage… it’s playing like a liability.

Every interview I saw of Jeanty made me want the kid more. Opposite for Shedeur…

Maybe Sanders is a "Righteous Gemstone" lol

I can't stand him, and my Qb comparison is Jamarcus Russell.
