Not really a lot in here. Snead was asked about evaluating this year's QB class and he said he couldn't do that honestly so didn't answer. Snead said he's talked to Miami, presumably about Ramsey, and they agreed to talk after the draft. Said he's also talked to other teams but didn't give any specifics.
Didn't quite come out and say it but sounds like there was no Top 30 visit with Milroe.
McVay talked about Puka, Davante and Tutu being the top 3 receivers a lot. Is this really gonna be Tutu's year? I've been a stan/apologist since they drafted him but i still won't believe it till i see it...

The comment by Snead that they have been talking to the Dolphins, not necessarily about Ramsey is interesting. I find it hard to believe they would want to move up considering that they are already missing a second round pick. Two firsts? Only if they get another day two pick as well this year.
Move back? I don't see the Dolphins needing two first round picks for what it would cost them. I just found it a strange admission by Snead who is very controlled in his comments. If the Rams move up IMO it would be for a TE but two first round pickes for a TE? Especially when there are at least 3 that they could use with at least one likely to be on the board when they pick in the third round.
So regarding the media speculation about Milroe being a target, IMO maybe but probably in the third round not at 26.
I find it interesting that they have been silent about Sanders. He projects as a year two starter and seems to have a fundamental ability to read secondaries. He is projected to drop to the middle of round one which is where the Dolphins are.
I'm sure they might have inquired about Ramsey but I'm not convinced that is what the call was really about. I think it was more like moving up or down. I don't see the Rams having the picks to move up unless the Dolphins take this year's first and a first next year along with a day two pick.
I think a comment from McVay either in this conversation or another in regards to RT it seems they like McClendon there which would move Leveston to RG next year and take RT off the priority draft list.

If Tutu’s reps don’t triple or at least double then they wasted $10mil.
Snead was being coy about Miami I think. Reality is he has probably talked to every team or at least 20 teams. They all call each other this time of year to feel out appetite for trading and to see if they can glean any hints about what other GMs are thinking.
I think the Rams would like to upgrade Bennett if the right guy is there at the right pick. It isn’t going to be higher than their last pick in the 3rd. And even that seems too high.

IMO the next QB they take will be Stafford's understudy. He knows it's coming and has said he will pass on all he can. This is his last shot at a second ring and he can see the Rams have improved the team as much as they can in that regard. Next year I see both Higbee and Havenstein gone. Despite their dialogue to the contrary I don't see them extending Williams.
It's cheaper to draft a RB. He can be a mid-round pick because they have Corum as an interim starter. Williams will become a comp pick in 2026.
If McVay was being honest then they seem to be looking at McClendon at RT. He's got the same heavy feet as Havenstein. I doubt they extend Dotson and Leveston looks like a decent replacement. It's why they signed Shelton because their right side on the OL will be new. Meanwhile Limmer polishes his game and provides quality depth to learn behind Shelton.
Just one more day.

God help us if it's McClendon at RT...........I give guys a chance to prove themselves, but I just don't think he can cut it one on one with D/E when the better ones just kick his ass. That first Philly game got away from us on Williams early fumble--deep in Eagles territory, and then two quick sacks McClendon gave up. I don't think I've ever watched him and thought he would be a quality starter.

Who says they would be giving up a 2025 draft pick? They could easily give Miami #26 and their 2026 first rounder. I'm not saying that'll happen. Just that it's a possibility. Depends on who they have their eye on. The thing is, if you've been watching the current Rams front office, you should know, never discount anything.
