Thank you RFU

This post by no means is to disrespect any individual or other fan forums following the Rams.
I have been following the Rams since 1978 when I was just a 5 year old boy throwing a football a few feet. About 12 years ago I noticed the Rams forum on the Rams website and started to post there. Thankfully, a few Ram fans ( Tabu, Sparky, Epi to name a few emailed me about another web site). I was hooked and quickly joined this fledgling website. I posted regularly for about 5 years forming some friendships. Then one day I realized there were more hate filled posts than support for the Rams. I took my ball and didn't post or check back for over 5 years.
The long time posters were hardened by seasons of losing and trolls on the website. It wasn't what I had left but hadn't returned to what it once was. I started to become cynical of other members I believed to be negative and looking to create strife amongst members. The site had become a cut and paste bonanza with few posts generated by the members. I started to question that openly and received negative comments publicly. I received multiple personal messages supporting my position but few on the thread.
Then it happened. Elvis a.k.a Mr. Motes sent me a message suggesting I check out this website. No fluff, no promises, no grand illusions, or comparisons. Just one simple statement, "The site encourages open discussion and supports the Rams no matter the location".
I am grateful that Elvis reached out to me. Walking away from the other website was well on its way. I miss it like an ex girlfriend I shared some great times with. Then I go and check it out and remember it just wasn't working out. I wish the site success and miss quite a few members. Hopefully, more will transition here for another perspective on the Rams and open discussion.
I post this to say thank you and express my gratitude for being welcomed by the members here.
