Do Rams have Blind Spot at LB?

Hard to believe, we’re in considerably worse shape at LB in 2025 than 2024 letting Hoecht, Rozeboom, and Hummel go while having only Speight at MLB making the EJones trade look insignificant in comparison.
Maybe we’re reinventing the LB role opting more for tweener SS types but even those are gone in FA. Greenlaw and any viable LBs are long gone and it looks like we’ll be left with the draft, Unisigned rookies and the waiver wire…..again.
Prior to this we did an amazing job replacing Kupp and getting Poon Ford as well as Shelton back in the fold. but do we have a blind spot at LB??
Looking back I’m already having buyers’ remorse on Adams vs finding a way to keep Kupp in the fold and seeng Robinson in SF is only tempered by Deebo being gone. SF and Seattle don’t scare me but I hate it when good players go to our division rivals. I hope Kupp lands in the AFC.
I’m old enough to remember Isaac Bruce in red & gold. I hope they don’t sign Kupp.

Understand the take and maybe they will lean into more if the draft and or wait for more cuts . Cj Mosley is available. That is a lot of experience with the Rams system gone, will see what they can pull off now.
As much as I love Kupp I would much rather have Adams. He will be a difference maker.

There is only ONE ILB on the roster with starting experience - Speights. Neal and Fields were PS guys and both are the size of safeties - very undersized.
I know the Rams don’t prioritize ILB. But this is ridiculous. And stopping solid to premier rushing attacks was a serious issue as we all know.
I would not be surprised if they traded down from #26 and took Jihaad Campbell ILB/OLB - Alabama. They have to add at least 3 players to that group.

Certainly has been one of the lower priority spots. We did draft Ernest Jones and sign Bobby Wagner, but neither proved to be long term solutions.
I'd put pretty good money on the Rams taking an ILB with one of their first 4 picks.

Roquan Smith 6'1" 230
Patrick Queen 6'0" 232
Neal 6'0" 227
Does 4-5 lbs make that much difference? It didn't for London Fletcher.
Having said that, I doubt Neal is in their plans. But I don't believe it's because of his size. Fields is only 222

I'm gonna go ahead and assume they have a plan.
Can only imagine what the reaction will be if/when they resign Reeder...

I mean that cant be the plan right? Your trolling us
They could pull drafting a guy like Av mentioned ala Ernest Jones. Would rather use higher picks on other positions though, maybe 4th round or 6th round.

If you're in win now mode, not sure you should count on drafting a rookie to start but like i said, i'm sure they have a plan and things work out more often than not for this version of the Rams...

Maybe the plan is, start a rookie along side Speights? It worked with EJ in 2021. How many snaps does the #2 ILB get a game?

I mention size as a potential factor in taking on OL blocks in the run game. It’s their lack of experience that is the real issue. Can’t start the season with the ILB room we have now. Maybe one of those two is the answer. They will need more bodies and competition to really determine that. IMO
