5 Trade Value Chart approved trade concepts (any of them look good?)
PostPosted:3 months 3 weeks ago
These are all trades that work under the Trade Value Chart (points are w/in 20 of being an even swap).
Do you like any of these?
1. The "Movin' on Up" Plan
Rams send picks 1:26, 3:90 and 3:101 (936 points) to Bengals for pick 1:17 (950 points). A deal like this might be necessary if the Rams want one of two Top TEs (Warren, Loveland).
2. The "2 Twos better than 1 One" Plan
Rams send picks 1:26 and 3:101 (796 points) to Seattle for picks 2:50 and 2:52 (780 points). Intra-divisional deals not common, but this this is a draft in which the drop-off of talent from the late first to the second round is minimal.
3. The "One Giant Leap" Plan
Rams send picks 1:26 and 3:90 (840 points) to the Giants for picks 2:34 and 3:65 (825 points). I kind of like this one. Rams would pick at the top of Rounds 2 and 3, where there will be a lot of talent.
4. The "What can Browns do for you?" Plan
Rams send picks 1:26 and 3:90 (840 points) to the Browns for picks 2:33 and 3:67 (835 points). Very similar to the "Giant Leap" plan. Rams would have the benefit of nearly a full day to decide who to take with the first pick in the second round.
5. The "Gotta have that 2" Plan
Rams send picks 3:90, 3:101 and 6:190 (251 points) to the Eagles for pick 2:64 (270 points). You'd have to really want someone on the board (and likely to be soon gone) to make a deal like this. Unlikely, but the Rams do have the luxury of an already strong roster.
So... any of these work for you?
