I hate this time of the year. It's the NFL doldrums.

Well articulated and thought out post.
Not like it could've been added to any other thread on this forum.

Man it’s tough to be an LA sports fan.
-World Series Champion Dodgers starting new season up soon.
- a re-energized Lakers will be heading to the playoffs
-the reigning MLS champion LA Galaxy have started a new season.
-Matthew Stafford is coming back.
But please, tell me more about how it sucks to not have the Rams playing right now.

Sorry but I'm greedy. LOL I guess it's living out here with my coyotes and javalina neighbors. Yeah I miss living in CA but I don't miss the expense. When I left back in 2017 my house mortgage was only 45% of the mortgage payment and it was going up again in a few months. Here in Tucson my total house payment is less than half of what it was in San Diego. Oh well, someone in my family has to be a Ram fan. Everyone else are Laker and Dodger fans.
My dad took me to my first NFL game, the Rams vs who can remember. I think it was the Bears because my dad was born in Chicago. LOL Been a Rams fan ever since because he was. My son is a big Lakers and Dodger fan. I disliked the Lakers because I had business dealings with Jerry Buss.
But the Dodgers and Lakers are what drives Kroenke to stay relevant in the LA sports market. In Seattle I went to all the UW games. But here in Tucson even though I follow the team and live about 20 min or less from the stadium I can't seem to generate the same enthusiasm.
Oh well, I will just go back and keep marking off the days on my calendar. LOL

I love this time of year. With FA and the draft, it's filled with hope and possibilities. May and June...those are the doldrums.
