Ugh. Year to year. Was hoping for 2 years. Oh well. Interesting on Kupp. I thought they tried to renegotiate and he said no. So, the put the trade in play to get him to the table?? Something is just off on this one.

I wonder if Havs/Higs will do a short extension?

I also wonder which FAs they are going to try re sign??

A lot of wondering for me. lol

Yep I think they want to be more dynamic and less injuries.

I hope they sign a few more of their own free agents...

CB Ahkello Witherspoon,
WR Demarcus Robinson,
WR Tutu Atwell, (pipe dream)
DE Michael Hoecht,
WR Tyler Johnson,
DL Neville Gallimore,
QB Jimmy Garoppolo,
S John Johnson.

I'd guess Demarcus, Hoecht, Gallimore and Jimmy G. are the most likely...

Echoing the Kupp is likely gone posts. I kinda don’t get it. If you get his number lowered and that part fits and makes sense, I guess it comes down to Kupp having to accept a lesser role in the offense. I assume that is not how he sees himself as a player. Clearly that is where the Rams see him and want to add/upgrade around Puka and J Whit. I guess we will know more as initial FA and the unfold. If there is no trade due to a soft market for Kupp and if the Rams don’t address the WR room completely through FA and the draft, perhaps they revisit Kupp and his potential new role and a restructured contract. All that happening seems highly unlikely.

It could be that they did not want to publicly insult Coop. Maybe it's kind of like what they did with Matthew; they are letting him find out his market value and then sign here again for less.
Coop does NOT seem like a man who truly would enjoy going anywhere else, especially after he has made more than enough to live a great life after he retires.
