Who do you see emerging from the current roster as a major contributor in 2025?

I voted for Forbes, even tho I believe Whittington will take a big step. I did that mostly because I want to believe in Forbes and I think he'd be a difference maker. Whereas Whittington will only work to enhance/replace a missing Kupp.

If Forbes were to emerge and play up to (or even close to) his draft position, that would be a massive steal for the Rams.

Whittington, I believe, can be that "Swiss army knife" type of player that McVay loves... a more talented Ben Skowronek?

I voted for Corum. If he gets the opportunity, I think he can be a very good back who might (if we don't extend Kyren Williams) even challenge for the RB1 spot.

I think it's most likely Whittington.

Corrum makes a lot of sense going into his 2nd year and how McVay is with rookie RBs. Then again i was expecting Zach Evans to step up in 2024. Whittington too since the WR core will probably look a lot different in 2025 but i'll go with Tyler Davis, not sure i have a reason but Bobby Brown might not be back so...

Of the players listed, one must feel that Whittington has already achieved a huge step forward. His play both on STs and as a rotational player has literally made Cooper Kupp expendable. It is without saying that Whittington will most likely be among the starters at WR this year. Other than Atwell, Whittington might be the fastest WR in the room edging out Xavier Smith by a hair. Whittington's role might be taking over the deep routes from Demarcus Robinson, who might be running more of the short and intermediate routes this year if they extend him as they should.

Forbes has yet to show he's more than a rotational player, though I think he is viewed as one of the CBs of the future, opposite Durant. Witherspoon has yet to be extended but I expect that to happen. His play opposite Durant was a big part of the success of the defense. That said I think he's not viewed as the long term starter and will be extended for essentially 2 years regardless of the number of years of the contract which will be added to spread the cap hit. We will know after this year and perhaps next year how good or not Forbes is. As Durant has shown as I've been told by NFL CBs that the position is far more technique intensive than the public knows and takes time to develop. Durant lost a whole year of development under Morris while he played Kendricks who IMO lacks the athleticism to play the position aggressively without committing penalties. Durant has shown enough to warrant continued development through this year which is a contract year for him.

That is why IMO CB will be a priority type pick probably on day two of the draft. I would expect them to take a CB who has length (6' + ) with 4.4 timed speed to match up with the types of WRs hitting the NFL. As much as I like Durant his shorter stature (though listed at 5'11" which is blatantly incorrect, he was 5'9.5" at his pro day) is a part of the problem. Like I've been saying it changes how he can play WRs that are taller. than him particularly in a man coverage scenario. McVay likes shorter CBs but it creates matchup problems for them regardless of their speed. Look at Forbes and Witherspoon both 6' or taller. Wallace is what I'm saying about a zone CB. He's not the listed 6' in height he's 5'11.1" and timed at 4.69 at his pro day. Yet he's a good zone DB because he anticipates route concepts well.

Word of caution. Be careful of the information on the Ram's website. They tend to "fudge" a lot of information.

I’m super excited about all of them, including “someone else” lol. I went with Davis because I think he has the tools to really be a solid to above average DT. I think having a year experience under his belt and going into the offseason with a clear plan on what he needs to work on physically, and mentally, will be huge for him.

It’s great to have so many potential impact players going into year 2. These are the types of players that help keep the team competitive every Sunday and a threat for post-season every year. I don’t see the big drop off year that some teams experience when trying to integrate so many newer/younger players
