Smart to designate as a post June 1 cut. If the value is there this year, more money for it, if not, roll it over to next year to wipe out the remaining cap cost.

Thank you Cooper for all the quality years and the SB win. I wish him nothing but success.

IMO, he is wasted on the field. He should be a WR coach. Look at how he transformed Puka. He was doing the same with Whittington as Jordan joined Puka and Cooper practicing together. His real skill is his ability to read DBs and know how to beat them simply off the read.

Reading the article on ARod, the Jets had less of a cap hit in 2025 by designating him a post June 1 (like Kupp). Had there been a trade, the entire cap hit would have occured in 2025 (49 mil for AR). So Kupp, not being traded actually saved the Rams 2025 money. Considering we wouldn't have received more than a 5th, smart move. Now don't go signing with SF or Seattle!!!
