This game better be a Sunday after a thursday night (mini-bye) game, and before an actual bye becuase this is an absolutely, brutally, unfair amount of travel.

It could be like the Brazil game, played on the Friday before the first week of football...

I think its pure greed over common sense. Both teams will lose a minimum of 48 hours. One day of travel and another to overcome jet lag. That is just one way. It's the same on the return. Both teams should get an extra bye. Because to lose your bye so early is punishing the team just to expand their business reach. I was in my 20's when I deployed to SE Asia and it wasn't an easy transition.

Both teams will lose a week of prep coming and going. They feel that going there as tourist is no big deal. But I'd like them prep for an NFL game and then play it. Unless they now have a hypersonic airliner hidden away.
