They played great against a great front DL.
Protecting our QB with 0/sacks, and only 5/QB hits.
Opened up holes for our RB for a total of 142yrs

QB / Stafford:
He didn’t have a great game, 27/att, 16/comp,
59% comp, 160yd/passing, 76.2/passer rating. 0/TD
But he had a few good throws to Puka,
especially that one bomb to Puka, to set up a FG.
His bad game was cause by the wet ball, IMO.

WR:
Puka had a great game, two nice tough catches,
One off the helmet of the defender and the bomb.
8/target, 7/rec, 97yds 2/carries, 11yds/run

RB:
William was tonight’s work horse!
Back to back games with 29 carries.
29/carries, 108yds

Defense:
The played outstanding tonight:
Only giving up a total of 205 in both the run & passing.
63yds/run, 142/passing. Zero TDs, only giving up 6 points.
Stats: 3/sacks, 3/QB hits, 5/TFL 1/INT

Turner had an outstanding game with 5 comb/tackles, 2/sacks, 2/TFL, 2/QB hits.

CB/Williams with an 1/INT, 2 comb/tackles, 1/PD

We had zero TDs in tonight’s game,

Slowly coming together. If this team can play a complete game in all 3 phases, they can beat anyone and everyone.

More importantly, we've earned it...

8-6 with a mini bye coming up. 3 games left. Against teams we're capable of beating. But they can't exhale just yet. As much as we're capable of beating them, we're also capable of losing to them. Its the NFL. A week to week league. Perfect example is the last two games. From scoring 44, giving up 42 points to scoring 12 and giving up 6 points.

Great game by the defense, held them to 2 FGs. But also a great game by their defense, held us to 4 FGs.

Both teams scratching their heads thinking, why can't our defnese play like that every game? Now if only the offense would be more consistent and we can play a complete game?

Or maybe the conditions were also a huge factor?

They were letting them play too. In most games, Rams would've got hit for some DPIs, deserved or not, that's just how it usually goes in today's NFL, but not last night...

This game showed that the Rams can win in a variety of ways. It also showed that this defense though a work in progress can be very dangerous if the opponent takes them lightly.

This season the defense's role is to keep the game close until the offense can get cooking. But there have been times when they have taken over games, as they are good enough to do. This defense will be extremely dangerous next year, especially if Forbes realizes his potential.

I have no doubts that the Rams will make the playoffs. Once in the playoffs it will be all a matter of matchups. In SB LVI the playoff matchups fell their way. There is a path where it could do so again. In fact there is a path (not an easy one to be sure) where the Rams could play the NFC Championship game at SoFi vs the Vikings.

My point is not to be premature and pie in the sky in my thinking, but why I've long felt this team could make a run at another Lombardi Trophy this year. One of my thoughts I had when the Rams beat the Niners last night was how much it would crush the Niner fans for the Rams to win a second Lombardi after they blew their opportunity last year. They are already coming apart after last night wanting a complete team tear down and rebuild. God I love it.
