Tanner Brown

I was slightly surprised that they didn't resign Tanner Brown this week. I think Karty is on very thin ice. If he misses another makeable kick, i.e. under 50 yds, I think he's gone. Apparently it was close between Brown and Karty.
Kickers are basically headcases. I remember Younghoe Kee couldn't hit a barn at 10 yards when he was a rookie Charger kicker. He was the worst kicker I ever saw in the NFL. Now he's kicking for Atlanta at 87% including a 58 and 52 yard field goals this year.
That is not to say Karty can't turn his career around or save his job this season. The primary reason is because the Rams still have a chance to get into the playoffs and an erractic PK is not going to instill confidence in McVay.
