Law enforcement sources tell us -- the NFL wide receiver was arrested early this morning on an L.A. freeway on suspicion of DUI ... after he was initially pulled over by cops for allegedly driving over 100 MPH.

Shortly after 5 AM, an officer observed Robinson’s white Dodge sedan speeding at the alarming rate.

Not suspicious.

And he was totally normal when he met with reporters yesterday afternoon. Yes more Tutu and TJ if Drob is out.

Head coach Sean McVay said Tuesday morning that the Rams were in the process of “gathering information” about the situation, which he said he became aware of on Monday afternoon. The Rams also notified the league about the matter. McVay said he had not yet made any determination about Robinson’s status for Sunday’s Week 13 game at New Orleans but expected to do so over the next day or two.

“Before I comment or commit to one thing, I do want to make sure that I have all of the appropriate and accurate information,” he said, “but what I will say is (that) anytime you do things like that, that is not in alignment with what we want to be about, I want to understand all of the facts that are involved. You want to demonstrate grace but also the severity and the seriousness of what could have occurred, especially if it relates to affecting yourself or anyone else in a negative way.”

McVay also said that the report of the vehicle’s speed was “concerning.”

“Obviously we expect better from him,” said McVay, “and we want to continue to gather all of the appropriate information with the legal things that are involved in that. …We obviously have higher standards (of) what we expect of him and the decision-making process as those things are concerned.”

Its concerning. If you're under the influence you want to make sure you're obeying all traffic laws. How dumb is it to drive 100 miles on a freeway where its pretty easy to be spotted?

Last January I let two friends of a friend pheasant hunt with me. The two guys (remax relators from Steamboat Springs Colorado). We took a short break about 10 AM and they started drinking beer!!!!!! It was @@#&#*## 1000 in the morning Kansas time meaning it was 0900 in the morning Colorado time!!!! I was shocked. One of them told me they were safe. I told him that's fine but you will need to be safe somewhere else where my my German Shorthairs aren't.
