Fuck it. LET’S GOOOO!!

Not one team, that would be 6 including the Rams, has won the game after they played the Lions. Weird stat? Or, is playing such a top and physical team so demanding that teams have nothing left after??

Couple that with the fact that it’s the shortest week when teams play on Thursdays and the road team is typically at a disadvantage based on time and travel.

The Vikings have to fly 1000+ and play us on our turf. They won’t have nearly the fan attendance we have seen from some of our favorite foes. So the crowd should hopefully be on the Rams’ side (no silent count for Stafford et al).

Kupp, Noteboom should be back and J Whitt should also be in line for more snaps after getting next to nothing today (shoulder).

Do I think we win? No. But I love being wrong. It’s time MCV schooled one of his students don’t ya think???

Rams currently 3.0 dogs with the over/under st 46.5. That line is surely going to go up with $$$ coming in on the Vikings. I think the over is a sure thing even with the Rams’ current offensive anemia.

My early guess is the Rams will make some adjustments at ILB and the defense will have another great game as far as being opportunistic.

The second biggest thing is - has MCV figured out the Flores defense? It ruined his life a few seasons ago and in his first SB appearance (Biilicheat used Some of Flores’ 6-1 alignments. Or did Flores steal those from Billy Boy??).

Can our secondary contain Jefferson?

I hope we feature #’s 23 and 22 a lot. Gonna need big production from both of them to keep Stafford upright.

Need Noteboom at LG. BADLY (can’t believe I just typed that). But he will be a massive upgrade there.

I got the house to myself Thursday night and plan on pissing off my neighbors with my loud and timely executed F Bombs!!!

Go Rams!!!

Let's not forget the loss to Flores' Dolphins in 2020 too. 471 yards of offense (4 turnovers) to 145 yards of offense (2 turnovers) by Miami. 28-17 loss.

Minnesota is currently the #6 defense in points allowed (17.8), #20 defense in yards (340 yds/g); #30 vs pass (260 yds/g); #2 vs rush (80 yds/g). Is that last one a result of their offense getting leads? 255 pass attempts vs (most in NFL), #3 in sacks (24). 120 rush attempts vs (third least in NFL), 4.0 yds per attempt (5th best).

Not expecting a win based on our offensive performance so far but it's the NFL and for all those reasons you listed (travel, time, post-Detroit, etc) combined with getting some guys back, it wouldn't be a HUGE shock. Would this be a game if the toss is won take the ball? I hope to see a lot of Kyren and Corum to keep their O on the sideline and perhaps dent that run defense a bit?

Considering how many guys we have on IR, being the #20 offense isn't bad. #15 passing; #26 rushing. A product of trailing a lot? #23 in points (19 ppg). A product of missing a lot of guys?

Viking favored by 3, o/u 48. Like i said in another thread, i thought it would be more.

We're talking about the offense vs. Flores but i also don't see how our D. is gonna hold up against their O.

But i'll be there and my opinions about stuff like this tend to be right about half the time...

It will be interesting with this short week what the snap counts will be. IMO it was clear that the Rams reduced the snap count against a team they had a high confidence of beating protecting some players for Thursday's very important game.

The Ram's margin for error is not gone but is very slim. Looking at their schedule the Vikings are one of the teams they really need to beat. This season will come down to basically sweeping the NFCW games, because tie breakers are likely to be crucial.

I think we will see Kupp and Whittington starting this coming game. That will substantially raise the threat level for the Viking secondary and in doing so lighten up their run defense. Dedich was a surprise starter and he played very well for an UDFA first time starter. IMO he was signed to give the Rams a decent backup to Limmer and he now looks the part.

Witherspoon has IMO locked down the starting boundary CB opposite Durant who emerged as an up and coming starter. I thought it was short sighted in not resigning Witherspoon but now they have their starting boundary CBs in Witherspoon and Turner.

McCollough was the big surprise to me. He lacks the normal athleticism you want in a safety, especially in terms of speed. But he has something more important. Jaylen thus far has shown his ability diagnose what is happening quickly and react properly allowing him to break on the ball. This in turn frees up Lake to play nickel where he is excelling.

I think White will be active for the game but it's clear Witherspoon and Durant have outplayed him. Meanwhile Curl has shown why he was signed as his play continues to shine. IMO ILB is the remaining weakness on the defense neither Reeder or Rozeboom look like starters. It will be interesting to see if they play White at nickel against the Vikings. It's clear to me that Lake and Curl are the Ram's best safeties. This secondary needs to find a slot CB to allow Shula to play Lake at safety.

The Vikings represent a legitimate test for this young Rams roster. A win in this game will go a long way in showing where this defense and makeshift OL stands.

nice write-up on the secondary! @Dare very well stated, i agree our "achilles heel" (esp for the vikings game) is our ILB position.. i can see them going heavy run on us, early and often.

I think having Darious Williams back has had the biggest impact, but Witherspoon is a smart consistent player, glad to have him back. The secondary has definitely getting into a rhythm with a pass rush that is starting to get home but is also still missing the QB at times. Kobie's miss almost cost the Rams the game.

Also Whittington may not play much depending on his shoulder.

I want to see more of Xavier Smith!!

And the biggest storyline of all: It's the return of Cam Akers...
