I was deeply researching this technology for my masters degree in 2015 which was basically the study of how people learn, and recall/apply learned information while under stress/duress. I KNEW it would end up in the NFL at some point. The simulation wasn’t realistic enough then. Sure sounds like it is now. I even gave my resume to Demoff and had about a 1 minute convo with him at the Rams’ first Irvine training camp. I told him I wanted to come to the Rams and work in their VR training/coaching program. And if they didn’t have one (I figured they didn’t), help bring it to the team. His answer was that they would be using VR for the “fan experience”. Never got an interview. I knew then and really know now how short sided that comment and attitude was, and is.
I wonder if they are using it/planning on using it now???
