NFC West Standings

Week 6
SF: 3-3
SEA: 3-3
AZ: 2-3, play Sunday
RAMS: 1-4, bye

2 games back 1-0 over SF, 2 to play with SEA, 0-1 behind AZ

Rams need to start clicking off wins one by one. They really need to sweep the West to entertain thoughts of the division.

We were a bad/not good enough team through 5 games. We got another week to see if we got any better and if any personnel changes were made.

I will update this thread weekly. Even though we all are probably aware of this all the time.

What gives me some hope is the niners schedule is about to get tougher, Seattle's was the easiest and now gets tougher and Rams have the easiest going forward. Having said that if dont win 3 of the next 4 we are done.

Yep. It’s there for the taking. Just have to come out of the bye winning and need to real off streak of wins. Starts with the Raiders. Lose that and…..
They can drop 3 games max the rest of the way, IMO. That’s a lot of pressure. I think they are up to the task but do they have the talent and will they have the luck and get the “breaks” to get there.

I’ll add, the Thursday nighter against SF could be a HUGE game - beyond what it normally is.

i was gonna say if the Rams lose to the Raiders they are done, but it would be Ramlike to lose to the Raiders but beat the Vikings.

I think you are most likely right about only losing 3, with this division the way it is, maybe maybe maybe 9-8 gets us in, maybe. Hopefully it matters but our last 4 games with 3 division opponents will be huge.

This is where is really hurts we couldnt get by Chicago or GB.

Ain’t that last line the truth. I don’t see why people are saying our schedule is easy or easier. The saints Eagles and dolphins will all be better then, than they are now. Will we be??

Also, none of the 3 possible losses can be against divisional opponents.

We're only one game back in the loss column. With a tiebreaker over the 49ers. 4 more division games. There's still a chance. But they'll have to show a lot more than they've shown the first 5 games if they think they can get back in it.

Ugly standings for the West. Are there any divisions eating well right now?

NFC North
Vikings 5-0
Lions 4-1
Bears 4-2
Packers 4-2

The dominant division right now. All would make the playoffs if the ole cliche “if the season were to end today” were true.

Well. It doesn’t end today. And a lot can and will change. After Thanksgiving week we will have a much better idea of who’s who and what’s what.
