But I think the reason why he got snubbed, both Gibbs & Jacobs had better scrimmage yardage for 2024 after 17 games......and they played for better teams! That's the bottom line with Pro Bowl selections. Unless you are a phenomenal talent (Aaron Donald, JJ Watt, Tyreek Hill, Trent Williams, etc), sometimes, your team's record has a lot to do with it. In the case of Gibbs and Jacobs, I think it was their scrimmage yards AND their YPC. Been following the horns since the Coliseum had a Roman playing there. I heard he was off the field more than usual in the Buffalo game because he was losing containment on Allen. The sacks haven't been there but the pressures the last 8 games were almost as much as the first 8. So maybe he's playing smarter knowing its not all about sacks. There are so many mobile quarterbacks in this league. Containing them should always be a part of the game plan. Even at the expense of sacks. by 69RamFan 2 weeks 2 days ago Total posts: 3491 Joined: Oct 15 2016 LA CA by way of NY/NJ Superstar ESPN--Verse is the highest rated rookie defender in the NFL POST #53 What would make everything feel even better, in which we only have one pro bowler selected, not including alternates.
