If, they mount any kind of push, which I currently doubt they will, the opportunity missed in a game they easily should have won will have big repercussions. This was a very deflating loss. And they will likely be 1-4 at the bye. Meaning they have to win 9 of their last 12 to have even a remote shot at the WC. And the NFC tie breakers are not in their favor as of now.

To even think of the playoffs is only a byproduct of the number of games left - not of performance.

Def not giving up yet, but now the GB game is a must win. I think some home cooking is what this team needs, hopefully the game isnt more than 50% GB fans. GB is definitely beatable and Watson appears to be out for the game.

Now about Chicago, yes the Rams offense should have scored more in the redzone, combo of not great execution and a talented Bears defense.

But our defense is what is holding us back now, we cant stop the run and we our young front provides inconsistent pressure and still has trouble getting the QB down. It is hard for me to blame Shula when we dont have AD and we traded away our best LB (who is leading his team in tackles). Still dont understand that trade, wish we could trade back for him.

White has had his issues coming back and Durant cant cover anyone. We really need Darious back ASAP. Hopefully our front can get home more as time goes on and maybe mix a few blitzes.

It will be well over 50% GB fans - and we will be going on a silent count in our home stadium once again. GB fans travel better than any other team. Jordan Love may throw for 500 yards against our 31st ranked defense. If not, our worst in the NFL rush defense (over 165 yards per game) will rear it's ugly head. Our defense has held opposing QBs to a 122.7 passer rating through 4 games. :shock2:

It's hard to NOT blame Shula when the defense can't stop ANYTHING. Just commit to stopping the run! I don't care if they throw for 400 yards - STOP THE RUN! At least that would be a start.

I know GB travels but cant imagine it would be more than the niner fans (many of which live in LA).

You can blame Shula all you want, but does he have the talent? Who is the run stopper on this defense? Who is the shutdown corner on this defense? We are a very young inexperienced defense which we were hoping the offense could carry but we lost 4 starters. Will see maybe we get blown out Sunday or maybe not....

I didn't say it would be more than the whiner fans - which estimates had at about 70% of the crowd (so embarrassing).

If the defense continues to implode Shula may not make the whole year as DC. As currently structured they can't stop anything - run or pass.

We played Detroit at Ford, Arizona on the road and SF at home and now Chicago.

Other then Chicago those are some pretty good offenses especially with the run. Again maybe this is all on Shula, but all I know is we have a very green DL, a hodge podge secondary and weak linebackers.

More then anything this shows how much affect AD had on this defense. Remove him and E. Jones from the middle of this defense and this is what we got.

Can this team buy enough time for the defense to get it together some, hopefully. The offense has to play fairly perfect for us to win right now.

I know I'm not speaking for all Bears fans: but I think if they went 6-11 but beat the Vikings, Packers and Lions in all the games that they'd feel happy about the season.

Being 1-3 is much better than being 3-6 after half the season is over. Verse and Fiske are both the real deal. BUT we do not have a Dline guy who needs to be double teamed. We are sorely lacking there probably til next season. The secondary has really disappointed me with all of the money we spent back there. But it is our offense which is sucking. Ok, we are still without stellar players BUT when it's totally obvious your OT's are struggling in pass pro, why not do the following? 1) Play action slant passes to our only guy who is hurting D's--Tutu. They are all giving him the shorter routes, but we continue to ask Matthew to stand in the pocket waaaay too long. 2) Why not motion our slot to chip on a rushing D end rather than just turn them lose on (especially) Big Rob. He is a total run block stud, but a liability in pass pro. 3) How about short, route combo's as we seem to be running mostly solo, intermediate routes now, resulting in sacks and turnovers. Yes, our two best route runners are both out, but we continue to play into opposing D's strengths. It would be wise to alter our game plans until we get Coop and Puka back. We get the ball out much quicker when they are running their awesome routes.

Well another poorly executed game.

The D is VERY poor at tackling and needs to vastly improve.
I've never been a fan of the 3-4 due to the fact that you need a TRUE NT and 2 good ILB's which the Rams lack.

Stupid penalties bit them in the ass and allowed the Bears to score.

The injuries on the O-line are showing need to get Jackson and Aliva back.

Poor play calling from McVay, getting too pass happy in the red zone.

If this keeps up I may have to break these out......

The rams have lacked a true elite corner since Jalen Ramsey. After the championship it was about conserving costs. These guys let Ramsey go a great corner. In my opinion elite.

White isnt the same player he was as a pro bowler.

Durant aint there yet.

Lake is a stud

Turner is a stud

Verse is a stud

Fiske is a stud

They just arent there yet.

Now if we get a player like Hunter we might be talking super bowl.

I wouldnt f them picks. We still need to develop.

The line sucks.

The packers can be beat. I go by my eyes. They couldnt stop Darnold. Stafford should be able to get what he wants against them. Tutu Winnington and Kyren Williams. You must run the ball to Haveinsteins side.

Love is still getting rust off. He will be home so I know he wants to put on a show. It will be close we have a shot.

With our kicker Karty well be in the game.
