Is this even possible? I don’t think the Panthers would offer such a deal. This would be a great add, imo.

I only see the Rams picking up players that are not on contract and would take the Vet min.

If the Panthers are entertaining… I bet we could clear the space. It makes a ton of sense, except there’s a nearly zero chance Panthers will gift us AT.

2 years left on current deal, they can clear the space if they want. Not sure they will go this route…yet. Depends on their record at the bye. If they are totally in the tank, won’t happen. If somehow they are 2-3 or by some miracle 3-2, I could see it. But if they get that record with good WR play, why make the move???

There’s some logic to saying that we’ve got Kupp, Nacua, Atwell, Robinson… we don’t need another receiver. Some of those guys will be back soon. What are you gonna do when they get back?

However no way they are going to send Staff out there to tank a season if they got nobody reliable to throw to. If they can get him for near nothing and MS has nobody reliable to throw to. Get Adam cause he can run the Kupp/Nacua routes you’ve already game planned for.

…and know one is thinking the Panthers may take Stafford in a trade for AT if we go with JimmyG? I hope the Rams aren’t there yet but we give players away and eat the cap. That’s our MO. If Kupp’s injury is bad (already headed for IR) Atwell is a bust and Puka is deemed injury prone, the wheels may come off with a loss to SF.
