Cam Newton I hate that I understand!

I usually look to use humor when posting. I had to remember it's just I game I am watching.
I am not a fan of Newton, to much the "Show"...not enough of the "Man". When he walked out after sulking his way through 3 minutes of post game interviews, I said to myself that's the jerk I thought he was all along.
Then this morning I read article after article slamming him just for that.
Then I read a post on here about going back 14 years and wanting to change the outcome of SB against the Pats. Then I remembered how I didn't respond to calls or texts for like a 5 days after that game. I sulked around work and friends. Haven't watched my recording of the game, will turn the channel when highlights come on. Pass up articles when it's mentioned. All I did that day was wear my Rams hat, my Faulk jersey, and relax in front of the TV. So I am personally going to give the guy a pass on this one. Not that it matters, because reality is he's got a whole lifetime of achievements ahead of him.
Now on to the weeks of torture I must endure living in Colorado with all these crazy fans.

Yeah but,,, Neil, you aren't paid multi millions to play a game and all that goes with it. Most all of the other 49 losing QB's had the emotional maturity to field the questions. I guess Cam is all caught up on his Caped Crusader crap and doesn't know how to process actually being a mere mortal. Being humble comes with the territory.
Oh and Cams Cat's weren't cheated either. That made the 2002 SB loss sting harder. I too was extraordinarily disappointed ,,, but that was because I was expecting a Rams win.
I appreciate your compassion and hope it will serve well you there in Bronco country.

I gotcha ya Hacksaw, I figured he's gonna get piled on. Everyone has felt like crap after a huge disappointment.
I do want to create a new hashtag #newtoningit. Definition is walking out after 3 minutes!

You could see this coming a mile a way. Think back to Wednesday's press session with Cam. He came shuffling in, his body language was awful, He basically pouted through the whole session. Cam was basically the same Cam as 3 years ago when he would sulk on the sideline and pout in his post game interviews. Like they say, winning hides a lot of things.
As extremely talented he is, he still has a lot of maturing to do to conduct himself as a professional. He is the league MVP so he has to be held to a higher standard then most. This game humbled him. It will an interesting story line for next season to see how he has grown or not.

Personally, I think the Panthers will be a wild card if that. Copy cat league. Not every team has two studs rushing from the edges(Rams do

), but teams have seen how to slow them down effectively.
Humility can be a powerful tool if used correctly and with true ownership.

Yeah, The NFC south seems to be a carousel on who wins the division.

It might be as bad as it looks but you can see a Panther (67) is coming flying into the pile and maybe Cam is just getting out of his way...
