He is essentially on a 1 year deal.I wouldn't assume that. He's not showing signs of regression with age. Last year was one of his better years. The numbers did not match up to his best years but he was doing things elite quarterbacks do. If he's still playing at that level this year I can see him returning next year. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if he finished the 3 years on his contract. The only thing I can think of that would make him walk away after this season is winning another Superbowl. And I would be fine with that. by PARAM 1 month 4 days ago Total posts: 12446 Joined: Jul 15 2015 Just far enough North of Philadelphia Hall of Fame I’ve been pondering this for a minute now: Dak Prescott POST #9 99Balloons liked this post Obviously, the guy loves playing the game. He's really talented and yet somewhat underrated. I forget who said it, though I think it was Madden....."if you're thinking about retirement, you're already retired". Look at it from another perspective....."if you're thinking about next year, you're not paying enough attention to this year". I get the 'you have to plan ahead' but maybe the opaque vision for next year is by design, when it comes to the post Stafford era. They're not worried about Stafford retiring because they don't believe it's going to happen any time soon. Been following the horns since the Coliseum had a Roman playing there. Jourdan has speculated he might move on from the Rams. Something I can’t quite fathom. Would the Rams trade him ???
