I'm talking about McVay's blinders....
I gotta believe, if it were up to him, with everybody healthy, Kyren, Kupp, Puka and Higbee would take every snap on offense with Atwell and DRob alternating. But who can blame him?

What i don't know is, how long do they have to be on the 53 before you can cut them? If they do eventually want him on the PS, how long till they can try to move him?

Anyway, Rams currently have 4 RBs on the 53...

I thought that only applied to signing someone off another teams’s PS?? I guess it’s assuming the contract that makes it a requirement. Either way, can’t say I gave it much thought. So he’s here for STs and maybe that will be as a returner?? But he might be heading to the PS when/if that is an option. Doesn’t sound like it is. Although, how can the Rams move guys down if they are under contract???

Thanks for the clarification.

I believe when signing a PS player from another team,
they are guarantee for three weeks on the 53.

I guess we'll see if he's active on gameday or not.

You have to cut the player. If they clear waivers then you (or any other team) can sign them to their roster or PS. If a team claims them, they pickup the existing contract and player is on the 53. (So claiming team usually has to cut someone to make room.)

If you're a vet (not sure how many years it has to be) you skip waivers and instantly become a FA and anyone can sign you to 53 or PS. That's what happened with Scott.

Thanks. I wonder if that applies to waiver claims too?
