There is zero reason for the Chargers to cut Seabass unless he asked for it. Expect he's going someplace...

I don't know how big his contract is but the Rams have shown zero interest in taking on contracts.

He might have to clear waivers if he's going to be a Ram.

And from the Rams perspective, the plan is working. Why change?

Because he is a known quantity and would add experienced depth and playmaking ability to the DL. Cost is an issue for sure. He is still young.

I would pass on that, but I would def go after Justin Houston recently released from the panthers, wants to play for a contender.
