Well well well, they are who I thought they were…

It took until mid season to know for sure, but this is a write off year.

We have a below average offense , and a below average defense and special teams.

I should have known better but I let the early games encourage me. Now back to being emotionless and let the young guys play.

Rest Stafford through the bye. Bench Higs for the season, see what we have in Davis, Long etc . Play Lake more look at options at CB. See what Evans can do.

This is the hand we have been dealt. I’ll go on record saying this was a mistake to waste a year of Stafford/Kupp /Donald. They don’t have many quality years left together. Have to be in the SB next year or 25 to have made it worth it.

Can’t argue any of it. Down the drain we go. Will probe win a few more and screw up any chance at getting a real difference maker in the first round.

Draft talk begins during the bye week is my guess. If not now.

This is absolutely the closest I've ever felt to being a parent because...

I'm not mad, I'm just really disappointed.

It feels like we were lulled into thinking this team was better than it is. They just aren’t good enough to overcome mistakes. Not against good teams. Season isn’t over but they literally have 3 losses left before probable elimination. And too many good teams left on the schedule - Seattle, SF, Baltimore. And one could argue the Browns. They would need to go 5-4 starting next week at a minimum.

I just don’t see it. I see 2-3 wins left. AZ, NY, maybe GB maybe Washington.

So deflating today was, (Yoda).

I thought we were better than advertised since the first 7 games we been alot competitive. This is our only blowout loss so far this year so now I dont know what version we are going to get the final 10 games: the team from the first 7 weeks or the team that got blown out vs Dallas

I was pleasantly surprised but all this talk about playoffs was premature IMO. The way I understood the plan was to get these young guys some game reps and maybe find some diamonds in the rough. Up until today they had acquitted themselves well and played hard.
The cowpokes were rested and ready and once they got rolling it turned into an avalanche. On to Green Bay.

As was I but now that I know I'm back to ambivalence at best. Last week was a tell but this week was a throw-in hand.

...and I was given 3o days in the hole for defending the same position? We never signed an Edge player, we never signed a decent b/u QB, we let all our starters walk on Defense and basically fielded the same, tired, Oline in what may be Stafford, Donald's and Kupp's last year... at least as Rams. what did we really expect?

Maybe Bre. But there are still 9 games to play, and for us to watch and “enjoy” before we are back to draft talk and waiting for training camp….again.

About what we have seen in the negative end. But have been surprised/hopeful on the competitive efforts.

Half the season left. If Staff is done for more than a game, so are the Rams. If not???

On another note, I have seen enough of D Kendrick. Rather see Tre and Shelly with more Lake at Star and Durant outside.

And it wasn’t your “take” that got you 30 in the hole. And you know that.
