It Comes down to Stafford playing 4 quarters of football.... He managed to show up 2.5 quarters this past Sunday.

Scatter Brain McVay still takes way too long to figure out what's going on, he's going to need to have a solid game plan for the whole game. Like Stafford, McVay still has trouble putting a 4-quarter game plan together.

Morris has been pretty damn fabulous this season considering what he has to work with... Basically rookies and practice squad players....

I would like see McVay hang it up at the end of the season and let Morris be the head coach... he seems to do well with younger inexperienced players.

I just find it very difficult to take anyone serious that would like to see McVay hang it up at the end of the season. That's a very knee jerk reaction to one of the best coaches over the last several years, the biggest reason why we have turned things around, and he is still the youngest head coach in the NFL. I think a deep breath needs to be taken.

I have never thought McVay was that good of a coach.... His game management skill set is subpar IMO, and I'm not the only one that thinks so.

A team that was 4 - 12 the previous season,

McVay took that team the next year and brought them into the playoffs.

Making the playoffs 4 out of six season,

bringing the Rams into two Super Bowls,

and winning one.

Nawww, he's not that good! :lol2: :lol2: :lol2:

You saying that "I'm not the only one that thinks so" adds no credibility to your position. His record is 63-41, 7-3 in the postseason, and has 2 Super Bowl appearances with 1 win. Anyone that discounts that most likely qualifies as "band wagoner" and I say go ahead and jump back on board when things get better.

And then still went back and won a Super Bowl. Going back nearly 5 years (to a lost Super Bowl) does nothing further to establish your credibility. You definitely sound like one of the fickle fans that I just smile at and shake my head.

LOL. Yeah. When I read this....

and I'm not the only one that thinks so.

I was going to ask, how many other 49er fans feel that way?

One thing's for sure, Rams management does not agree. He's likely to be here for a long time to come...
