Almost all the questions were about Kupp. Doesn't sound like he'll go on Sunday but McVay didn't say that. He did say there was something unusual about the injury/situation and that's why Kupp is seeing a specialist. No specifics, no details.
He also said, if you believe it, still haven't decided who the best/starting 5 Oline are but will by Wednesday and 8 will be active on gameday.

We haven’t even started practice for the first game of the season and the injury bug is an issue. Ugh

Kupps gonna try to play. You’re gonna have to pull him off the field.
Seems like the Rams told him you’re out a few games.
And he went to Minnesota to get a second opinion and see if he could go and maintain it.
Something we thought was small can be bigger. I’m thinking he will play the second game against the 49ers and will be out against the Seahwaks. Seahawks.

One of the worst pains I have ever felt in my life, I thought was a major hamstring injury, turned out to be sciatica. That nerve cluster in your lower back can REALLY f**k you up. I wonder if that's what Kupp might be dealing with? The whole, "questioning whether it is actually a soft tissue injury" or "examining the nature of the injury" just sounds very curious to me, and it's one of those things where you'll feel perfectly fine for days, weeks, months and then one day you twist the wrong way every so slightly and BAM!! It feels like you're being stabbed in the leg with an electric knife...that's also on fire!!!
tldr: I hope it's not sciatica and that Kupp has a quick and full recovery!
