You would think, or hope they can do better than Rozeboom at the other ILB spot. In my opinion.

Welcome to the board RamsWon.
I noticed they have 12 positions on defense. 3 CB's. My guess is they will be in nickel most the time with Rozeboom being the odd man out. So far Johnson is behind the young guys at safety. That might change.

I know Rozeboom plays on ST but Woodbey, Kalechi or Square could put him out of a LB job, if they play ST too. So they might end up "doing better than Rozeboom".

Playing next to AD,
I believe OLB/Young special and will shine.
This kid is fast.

A couple things about that. The Rams havent exactly been effusive about his play so far including AD. Rookies tend to get hurt. Why not add some insurance. Im all for Young starting, but feel much better at least having some vet depth.

I don't know what we can gleen from that. There are 6 guys vying for OLB/Edge......Hoecht, Thomas, Hardy, Young, Hampton and Mathis. Why give effusive praise to any of them? Let them all think they have much more work to do....which they probably do.
We know Young is:
Ripped
Fast
Strong
Talented
Just keep him motivated and working hard, as well as the rest of them.
Or maybe they all stink!

Well usually the go to in theses pressors from coaches/players is usually to heap praise. I would say what I have heard has been very deliberate, not very effusive.
Hell maybe those young bucks prove me wrong. But personally much more concerned with our extremely inexperienced EDGE play then our safeties, yet we added JJ3.
I also worry about rookies in general when it comes to injuries, they dont have armor built up yet for the rigors of the NFL. Young appears to be in great shape, but is he in NFL shape....
