I know this is a topic almost guaranteed to cause fighting but we all are interested to see who the Oline will be for 2023.

We can keep track here.

Jourdan says the Rams will try many combinations. She also made it seem like Alaric is very likely to be the LT. We can pretty much count on Havs at RT and that's about it.

We know watching what they're doing in OTAs and camp doesn't always work. The first year McVay was here they tried flipping Havs and Jamon for a while before flipping them back. The switch to Allen at center came midway through camp in 2021, etc...

Def early, but they are being careful with Noteboom as they should so who knows if Alaric will be the guy with training camp still to come. I know they like his size.

I could see an o-line from left to right (mostly due to injuries last year)

Alaric Avila Allen Coleman Havs.

I know they are working Bruss back in slowly as well. I wouldnt hate Coleman taking over center and Bruss at RG. Will see

Here's what I'm hoping to see...

At LT, I'd like to hear that Jackson and Noteboom are both healthy and competing for the starting spot.

At OG, I really hope that Bruss and Avila are the clear starters by opening day.

At C, its Allen vs. Coleman. May the best man win.

Hav is, of course, a mainstay.

I have hope for this unit, particularly if, as I expect, there is greater focus on the running game.

About Hav, I'd always been a fan of his until I watched Maxx Crosby destroy him last year. Hav is an awesome run blocker, but a liability vs. speed rushers. This might prove to be his last year here at his salary.

My orginally posting about the OL:

I wanted the starting lineup as:

AJ/LT/330, Avila/LG/332, Shelton/C/300, McClendon/RG/310, RHav/RT/330

The reason why I had Shelton over Allen, is because of Allen's knee injury

The reason why I had McClendon over Bruss, is because of Bruss's knee injury

The way it's looking:

AJ/LT/330, Avila/LG/332, Allen/C/303, Bruss/RG/310, or Shelton/RG/C/300 and RHav/RT/330

Backup:
McClendon/Swing Tackle/310
Anchrum/G/315
Shelton/RG/C/300 or
Bruss/RG/310

Trade/Cut:
Noteboom/T/320
I see either a post cut/trade after Jun 1st, dead money cut/6.5mil, savings/0
Dead money trade/5mil, savings/1.5mil

ME: I concur....except I wanted it done in 2019 after his first LG season-ending injury. Noteboom filled in at LT for Whit in 2000 for several games, and in 2021 Playoffs for 1 game vs SF, then got hurt and got IR'd for the SBLVI game...
....then last year's debacle, starting with the opener vs The Bills. :oops2:

I really don't understand why McSnead keep betting on this lame horse.
I mean fool me once (2019) shame on you.
Fool me twice (2022) shame on me....
Start the same injury-prone guy to protect the blindside of our 35 year old Franchise QB for 2023???? :roll2:
Shame on Kroenke for hiring such an Einstein-Insanity-Theory-defying group of upper management! :!2:

Anyway, my starting OL Five:
LT Alaric BornWindsor,Canada! Jackson
LG Steve PriorityDay2Pick! Avila
OC Coleman HelluvaName! Shelton
RG Tremayne 4thYearInNFLGuy! Anchrum
RT Rob SteadyEddyLeader! Havenstein

Anchrum over Bruss because of his longer tenure in the NFL. :idea2:

I wouldn't be so quick to trade Noteboom. Look at what happened with our injuries in 2022. We need quality depth. Noteboom could give us 4 or 5 good games.
