That could be one of the problems...or

a sous-chef is only as good as his ingredients. In addition, the sous-chef is under the command of the head chef.

I did notice yesterday that he is very good at helping Stafford get up off the ground after he gives up the sack. So it's not all bad.

If I recall, one of the things the players said in their post season interviews when Fisher left was player accountability. McVay brought that quickly. But maybe now he is getting soft and letting bad players play? I don’t know but I feel this just wouldn’t be put up with in 2017. But pretty speculative I know.
