Beckham was just making this game about himself. First real sign of me not we.
I think it comes to money and he's a goner.
Hope to heck I'm wrong.

So you guys know he was AT the Rams game. He did a bit with big Whit and helped reveal the banner. I think he’s just trolling the media. He’s going to re-sign… but boy did the Rams ever make the case for him not to come back tonight.

I might be in the minority but I'd prefer they not be in a hurry to re-sign OBJ. Best case he returns halfway through the season. It will take several games to get his sea legs back. So likely he'll start making an impact with maybe 4 games left.

After last night its not a done deal that they make the playoffs. I still think they should. But a tough schedule with a struggling offensive line who can't run block. They couldn't pass block last night either but I think they improve at some point there.

Bottom line there is no guarantee they will be in a position for him to help them down the stretch. They were exposed last night. It could be complacency. Not ready because they didn't play in the preseason. This could be their wake up call. But I'm nowhere near as confident as I was before the game.

We have an OBJ sighting in New Orleans on their side line this morning.

I think OBJ is moving on. Or at least putting pressure on LA to do something.

The rams/the offense need to develop AR and Van Jeff needs to be 100%. Also, between PuPu, Skow, Harris, and the dark horse McClutch a solid #4 needs to be had. Then the need for OBJ lessens significantly. I for one love OBJ. But, 2 ACLs, same knee?? Odds are he is robbed of some of the traits that make him the WR he is/was: Speed, quickness, lateral/Change of direction agility.

My outlook has not changed since I posted this. I don’t really think it matters. OBJ isn’t signing anywhere with anybody until his knee checks out and that doesn’t mean he’ll be the same. If some team wants to sign him and gamble 30m great. If the Rams are contenders in November they’ll be in the conversation. If not it’s moot.

There is no comparison with Von. He was dinged in Denver and we made a trade. Miller was healthy last week and we sacrificed one game (0-1) to save 120 million. Now we need to know, not hope that ARob was worth letting Woods and Miller go. Atlanta will tell us a lot.
