So we get to see the depth WRs playing with our #2 QB. I am guessing the Texans will start with their #1 D then add in second line guys for the first half of the game. We also get to see Funk, Calais, and Rose at RB. Funk seems entrenched at #4 if K Will is #3. Which of the rest will make the PS?

This may change my whole perspective on where Perkins stands, the fact Wolford is now gonna play in preseason. McVay says it's just to get him some reps since he hasn't really had any since the end of 2020.

Exposing Wolford now doesnt fit the Rams typical safety procedure. Not sure if this is a sign of a Perkins ascent or if JW just needs to get on the field with out his red shirt.
I'm looking forward to seeing him in action so we can get some better perspective. Compare the two.

Their approach to not expose the important guys to injury, at the same time doesn't give those same guys any live bullets to shoot until the games count. Seems a tad counterintuative to not get those reps in but the size of the contracts these days makes it a thing.
