Vernon Adams Perfect fit

Besides the East West Shrine game performance this kid can be gotten with a 5th round pick or later, he may not even be drafted but the guy is a baller plain and simple. He just has that knack, that special something you cant measure at the combine. He is slippery but seem's to have a bat like radar to find receivers and make good fortune out of pending doom. Put him in the backfield with Gurley and let them both just play the game and the potential is very good. I don't want another 6-4 235 statue QB who has no touch on the ball even though he can throw it 90 yards in the air. Sure up the Defense and O line with some of the early picks. You have the next great Ram RB already. Adams is from Pasadena and this is the perfect story if management allows it to happen, Go look at some youtube highlights if you need convincing. This kid is all about football, no drama no trouble and reminds me of a cross between Doug Flutie, Warren Moon and Russel Wilson with a magic touch. I hope they consider him in later rounds.

Small frame, compared to Wilson. Wonder if he can put on some muscle mass? 201 isn't tintype until it's being squashed by 310.

I agree the guy is a gamer, I live in PAC 12 country so I have watched him a few times this past year.

It will be interesting to see if he gets drafted.

I love how short athletic guys gets instantly compared to Wilson. People forget how great Wilson was in college. If he was 6-2 he would been in conversation for #1 overall. I think he set the record for highest QBR in his lone season at Wisco

Didn't Wisconsin have him over 6'00" in their player guide?

I'm old enough to use Flutie as a reference but not sure others would get it...lol.

Not sure about that with Wilson, but what still boggles my mind is that North Carolina State let him walk so they could play Mike Glennon

And yes, I am certainly old enough to remember Doug Flutie. May be my favorite college player of all time

I remember on another board people wanting to trade for Glennon (not you). Glad the Rams didn't. He is N Foles in a different uniform.

Oh the Hail Mary :D

If he isn't drafted and the Rams give him a tryout I bet he makes the team. Look at our QB play last year and a guy like Adams could of had more success just getting in the game in general. Look at Dallas QB situation end of the year and a few other teams and it's obvious the kid should land someplace.
