Just got home. I'll have more to say and pics later but wow, longest line i've ever seen to get in though not too crazy once inside, still the hype is real. People are turning out to camp like never before.

And that's great, but also worse for people like me. It's harder to move around (i sat in the bleachers the whole time). They're looking harder at what you're bringing in, no more professional lens, phoenixrising had to leave his in the car so no pics from him today.

I really hope it was load management because Stafford, after throwing drills (and looking great), rested the entire 11 on 11 reps. Wolford ran the 1's and Perkins ran the 2's. It was a big fall off in both cases.

I went with phoenixrising and we met The Professor there, hopefully they will add their own reports.

Check back in a little while for pics and more comments...

A few observations: Kupp is really good, i mean it goes without saying but it's also ridiculous. The only time the 1's really looked good with Wolford was when he was throwing to Kupp. Pretty much every time there was a good play and you said, "who was that?" It was Kupp.

I thought Brycen Hopkins looked good, really fast. Blanton made some tough catches in traffic. I'm sure you heard Wagner was making plays all over the field. The defense won a lot but it really wasn't fair with Stafford out of the rotation.

I know we have a lot of Perkins stans but by all indications Wolford is solidly #2 and Perkins did not look good to me (or anyone i was sitting with) today.

Tutu made some plays but it was usually on plays that had broken down so i'm not sure what there is to be learned from that.

BTW, on the Rochell interception, he had good coverage and it was a nice pick but Perkins threw a wounded duck and you would never throw a 50/50 ball to Tutu especially against someone the size of Rochell...

That’s the thing that bugs me about Tutu. The guys value is as a burner… but I’ve yet to see him just burn everyone and get clear — anywhere. I know it’s just practice, but this guy has a lot to prove this year.

No way he’s going to high point, box out, or win a 50/50 ball.

Thanks Elvis, always love these.

So did Hollins stand out? Its disappointing to hear that Wolford is beating out Perkins...
