Wanted to say a quick hello. I have read and even posted some on another board and more recently read posts here. Recognize many posters here that I have not seen in a while and been enjoying reading what you all have to say about our team.

A little about me, I have been a Rams fan all my life but strangely never lived in California or Missouri. Think growing up on a farm with goats I tamed and also sibling rivalry with a brother that is a cowboys fan. In the 70's our Rams sure made him mad and as a good caring brother I showed him my love by rooting for the team that made his cowboys loose.

I currently live a retired life in Asia, and sometimes it can be challenging to see all the games, but certainly in recent years have enjoyed what I can see.

Well look forward to being a part of this board with some posters I have not seen in years.

Thanks for the welcome and always enjoyed your handle or name on the board.

When I made my name here I tried to be creative also, and PIRam for the Philipines Islands (PI). Wonderful country with kind gentle people and ones retirement can go much further then the western world.

The one thing I think I have missed in those years is a daytime game, at least daytime when it airs here, and going to a game once in a while. Most everything else I can mostly find here.

The Oak Street Bridge spans the North Arm of the Fraser River from Vancouver into our suburb of Richmond, population about 230,000, and where YVR Airport is located. The largest Roman Catholic congregation in West Richmond by far is St. Joseph The Worker, and is where my daughters were taught Catechism by Mrs. Munoz, and other caring ladies....
all from the Philippines! :idea2:

Over half of St. Joseph's were of Philippine heritage, and thinking back about it this morning, I recalled my wife's great relief (and thankfulness) when, some years ago, she very warily walked into her failing father's bank branch to make some unavoidable, but necessary, changes as his power-of-attorney. My wife was very uncomfortable about her role, and quite sorrowful about the whole deal....
...but who surprisingly comes out of her Assistant Bank Manager's office, upon seeing my wife enter into the bank to say, "Hi Deb, welcome to my branch! How can I help you?"

It was Mrs. Munoz!!! :idea2: :arrow2: 8-)

We had no idea where Mrs. Munoz worked, so my wife was very pleasantly surprised....and moreover, in the end, so thankful and appreciative, as Mrs. Munoz walked her through the whole process........

so, it's as you say PIRam, "kind gentle people....in the Philippines" to be sure....
and our family would add "caring and generous" as well. :idea2: :arrow2: 8-)

My experiences while living here have been very similar how you describe yours. I feel very lucky to be here.

I start to wonder what part of the Philippines your friends are from. Such a small country but so diverse at the same time.
