My FA Predictions for the Rams

With the opening of the "legal tampering" period, the FA news is going to come fast and furious. Before it does, here are my predictions for the Rams:

1. Offensive Line
I'm still expecting Andrew Whitworth to retire and, if he does, I think the Rams will retain Joe Noteboom. I'm also expecting Brian Allen back. I'll bet on the Rams letting Austin Corbett go, as he would be the easiest to replace.

2. OBJ
He'll be back with a multi-year contract that accounts for his injury.

3. Von Miller
I think he'll be back, but I won't be surprised if I'm wrong. With the large list of veteran pass rushers out there (Za'Darias Smith just added to that list after being released by Green Bay), my expectation is that, if Miller is not re-signed, the Rams will bring in another veteran.

4. Bobby Wagner
I'd love to have him, but I doubt we'll get him and Miller. As I'm predicting Miller stays, I guess that means Wagner goes somewhere else.

Darious Williams
I think he'll find that his market is not so great and will end up back with the Rams.

Matt Gay
No brainer. Keep him.

SJD, Sony Michel
Gone.

My DWill prediction may not be aging well, though...

I hope we at least get Miller or Wagner. Would hate to be shut out on both of them.

DWill is better than he looked last season.

I'd tend to agree with that, but another factor with him is that he'll be 29 tomorrow. At that age, will anyone give him a 3-4 year deal? Guess we'll see.

Guess that means that Big Whit is retiring.

Boom is getting starter money so seems pretty likely that's the case...

Yeah, it seems Big Whit is calling it quits. I don't see them paying Noteboom that kind of money to be a backup. I'm fine with keeping him. Every time he's had a chance to play left tackle he's more than held his own. He may not be too good at the guard position but it seems left tackle is his niche.
