In our universe, the Rams drafted Aaron Donald with the 13th pick in the 2014 NFL Draft.

There was another player, though, who many thought the Rams should take with that pick. Johnny Manziel.

From national commentators...

To fans...

There was definitely a pro-Manziel contingent. Thankfully, wiser heads prevailed, and the Rams took a future HOF and Top 5 all-time defensive player rather than a smug, arrogant, future bust.

Of course, somewhere in the multiverse, there is a universe where the Rams took Manziel over Donald.

I don't want to even visit that place!

Greg Cosell is a great evaluator of film, not a scout.
Bernie is a great evaluator of food and obviously great at scouting buffets.
Marshall is a Hall of Fame player, not a scout
Scott Hoffman? Who the hell is he?

And that is why I love the F**K them picks mentality this team has adopted. Let's continue using those picks for proven talent and not just what talking heads think we should do.

That Tweet was made when Donald Trump was a private citizen. If you see that as "political baiting" (so I'm a liberal now? ), that's a YOU issue.

You could've found any number of celebrities saying the same thing but chose that one....with the "no comment necessary " reply.

This thread has taken a silly turn, and that's unfortunate. Suffice to say, if I wanted to "politically bait," I'd do it with more panache.

Something like...

Aaron Donald is the best. Heck, I've seen Donald trump every attempt at double and triple team strategies. As a result, offensive coordinators lament at how Donald trumps their plans, time and again. When his career is finished, I think many will look back and say, I remember watching Donald trump the best defenders in league history. Yeah, I'd say that Donald trumped them all.

Now THAT would be baiting.
