Listen, I am elated as any other Rams fan. However, do these 2 ever stop f'ing up. I have never seen a guy like Reeder get into position and just miss tackles. And Skowronek would mess up a wet dream. His special's are atrocious and I never knew catching with the thumbs was a thing. Just because you go to ND does not make you smart!

Two positions to fill in for next season no doubt. I liked it better when they were depth. Perhaps they'll pull something off in the SUPERBOWL..

Jones seems to be poised to take Reeder's spot.

As for Skowronek... he's very good in special teams coverage. As a WR, he'll hopefully be 6th on the depth chart next year.

Jones should replace Reeder and Skowronek is a good Special Teamer and needs to get better at catching balls like that if he wants to get playing time as a WR. I did see him make a key block on an offensive play that sprung the RB for a 1st down. If Van is at 100%, he is probably catching that TD instead of Skow running that route

Reeder has his moments but Jones is an upgrade. Skowronek is a good STs player, can catch the ball despite that miss in the end zone and is a competent blocker as a WR. Especially when we're down a TE.

On that miss in the end zone, he either ran the wrong angle and didn't adjust, or both. That came over his left shoulder as he was angled to the right.

Jone's took Reeders starting spot until Jones got hurt. McVay should send Skow to the eye doctor.

Reeder's instincts aren't good. Skowronek to be fair, that pass from Stafford seemed like it wasn't initially destined for him. Kupp came open on the out route and drew the safety towards him, so perhaps Stafford saw that as the 2nd route and decided to go for the HR. I still think he will be good in the slot since he is still a rookie. MLB/ILB is a need for sure. Play decent in two weeks and all is good.

Brian Allen anyone? Greg Gaines? Sometimes players turnout better than we originally expected.

I think another fast ILBR and another corner should be at the top of next year's list. Skow, to me , is a very good blocker...as for his not catching that potential TD, Stafford could have thrown it in front of him instead of his having to turn his head to find it. Both could have done better on that play. I was surprised when we kept Skow, but he is a valuable role player on this team.

Couldn't agree more. Love the instincts, hate the athleticism. You can see the man is a try hard and was probably loved by every coach he played under because he gave max effort and knew his playbook. I like the reads he makes but he is a dollar short each time (the 4down Fournette non-tackle a key example). The drops in coverage are not a pretty sight and he often gets turned around.

Skow's drops are a problem, but you can see why they like him, long, fast and does the Ram WR-thing of willing blocker (where his size is useful). I am happy to keep him around, hands can be worked on, the speed and size cannot. Either way, if OBJ comes back (i dont see Woods being released) we have the best top 4 WRs in the league and Skow can be a developmental prospect.

They have managed the skills positions well.
