More like a 21 year nightmare. Save for that 3 year GSOT run. I feel like I lost my favorite dog and thought he was gone for good. Then he shows up on my doorstep years later. With a fancy new dog house loaded with all the bells and whistles. 8-)

It's more than that, though I totally get what you are saying.

It wasn't until the announcement that they were returning to LA that I realized that even though I still watched literally 99% of all the games they have played since they left I did not feel fully engaged with this team.

1999 was the best year of my football life but in some ways I feel more jacked about them coming home then I did them winning it all in 1999.

Additionally, this board has also lent to my excitement level. It was through a PM on RRF that I learned about this board barely a week ago and I feel HUGE sense of community here. More than I have ever experienced anywhere else.

It is SO GREAT to be among like-minded, equally passionate and knowledgeable Rams fans. I used to think NOBODY loved the Rams like I do. It turns out some really do!

So if it's possible, we woke up from one dream (hoping they'd come back) into another dream (they ARE back).

It's like INCEPTION!

It's real! I love how many texts, in person congrats and love I am getting from so many people....I am literally the only Rams fan they have known and I have been constant talking about them for so many years, even when we were losing (which was well, mostly always). It's so surreal they are finally home.

And....YES! to the bolded part. I used to think the same thing - beyond happy to have all of you to chatter with now.

I never stopped hoping. You could feel it before GF died. Afterward, it was on.

Not until a few of us here met up for the first time in Oxnard this summer did I ever really feel they would return. That day truly changed my mind.
It's gonna be crazy, cool weird watching them that first game in the Colosseum.

I felt the same way. Ever since Georgia died, I thought they had a good chance to move back to LA. There were a lot of signs (SK bidding to buy the Dodgers, buying the land in Inglewood a couple of years ago and of course the announcement a year ago) since Georgia died, that it was going to happen.

When Stan announced he had bought Hollywood Park, I knew it was only a matter of time.

It pretty weird. Now that it's here. I'm still letting it sink in.

I kind of used up a lot of my energy getting to this moment. I'm not posting so much right now. Just savoring the win.
