Big opportunity for attending the Wild Card game tonight

Little known fact: first round NBA and NFL wild card games typically have demand below the level of a typical regular season game. (In cold weather cities like Green Bay, wild card home games typically have the lowest demand of the entire season.)

Then throw in...

A) 4 vs. 5 game, meaning many fans will have hopped off the bandwagon because a Super Bowl run is unlikely.

B) Low profile opponent; among Chargers fans, I can tell you that the Cards are octennially viewed as an attractive game for thrifty fans

C) Monday night, which is typically the second-weakest ticket demand NFL timeslot behind Thursdays

D) MLK Day, which will see many suburban Angelenos solemnly observing this important national holiday from their Vegas suite or Big Bear ski chalet.

Point is, if you have a "dream" scenario for a live Rams game, tonight is the night. Club seats for 30% below season ticket holder cost... Lower bowl 100s (the "fan brawl zone") for under $200... 300 level or 400 sidelines for a shade above $100.

I will be there, rooting on the home team. Hope some more folks from this board decide to get in the building as well!
