Sounds to me like we will have a couple of new QB's this year. Whether it's via draft, free agency or trade or combination that's yet to be seen...

to me it sounded more like snead is happy with keenum as the starter, said he almost went 4-0, claimed he was a top 10 qb at one point when looking at analytics... frankly i have absolutely no idea where one would have to go to find analytics that painted keenum in a positive light, he sucks and his numbers tell the same story... very sadly, snead's comments were deja vu all over again, the exact same out of touch comments he made when trying to convince folks that bradford was the guy the rams needed at qb going forward because he was 5-2-1 against the nfc west... so deflating...

here's where the rams' offense ranked with keenum under center:

27th - offensive points scored per game
32nd - first downs per game
32nd - offensive yards per game
32nd - 3rd down conversions
31st - yards per offensive play
32nd - red zone drives per total drives %
31st - scoring drives per total drives %
1st - punts per drive

here's where keenum ranked among the 40 qbs with most pass attempts:

26th - qb rating
38th - pass yards per game
33rd - pass yards per attempt
32nd - td %
27th - completion %

and here's where keenum ranked in 3rd down passing:

38th - qb rating
40th - completion %
40th - yards per pass attempt
37th - pass attempts completed for a 1st down

for those who want to argue that the rams were 3-1 with keenum under center and that's all that counts, well all the power to ya...

That's the way I read/translated his comments. When I read the OP, I thought it might be a different video that I haven't listened to, but unfortunately it was the same video. Hopefully, it was just a pc answer so it doesn't seem like he's desperate to trade, draft or sign a fa QB.

as a backup, sure, but he's no different than having clemens as a backup, or as a starter for that matter, imo... wentz? sign me up.

A draft and free agency is coming up.

They are playing poker with what they say. Not one draft has turned out what they were indicating what they were looking at. And I love it! :)

I would bet Keenum is the veteran that starts until the 1st round pick is ready to take over. There's one on every roster that takes the franchise QB.

Agree - I wouldn't believe much of anything they say about players right now.

Just hope when we start 2016 we've got some solutions.

Clemens, Keenum pretty much same player. And all you look for in a backup. Have some experience, can be crafty and you pray to god they never play a meaningful down. Haha
If Flacco can go from 1aa to a team with a great defense, great running game and make a playoff run, I don't see why this kid can't.
Wentz that is...

Are you focusing on Wentz because he's the most likely to be available or because that's who you want the Rams to take? I like Lynch better than Wentz but apparently, he's the #2 ranked QB prospect right now and probably won't be there when the Rams select.

Is Goff clearly #1? I've heard Cleveland will take him and Hue's got west coast/Cal ties so...
