Case Played Well Enough To Win...

just stumbled across fish's presser following the rams loss to the niners to end the season, among his comments:
"case played well enough for us to win... hard to lose a game when you don't turn the football over..."

good friggin' grief... case completed 59.5% of his passes for a qb rating of 77.6, the equivalent of a 29th and 30th ranking, respectively... on 3rd downs case completed just 1 of 9 passes as the rams ended up converting just 3 of 12 3rd downs on the day... 5.1 yards per offensive play? the equivalent of a 27th ranking... if not for the rams' defense setting up case & the offense on the niners 3-yard line, thanks to a 42-yard pick and run by simms, the rams' offense would have been shut out of the endzone, would have only score 6 offensive points on the day, 12 if you want to count the 2 botched field goals... but fish jots this one down as game the rams could have won because case played well enough, and no doubt because boras did his job well enough too... the horror, the absolute horror...
game tied 16-16 late in the 4th, case can't decide on a target on 3rd down, ends up throwing a bad incompletion, 3 & out... for those with game pass, just watch case's 3rd down passes, if you can stomach it...

3rd & 5 to welker on a shallow cross, wide open, easy first down or td if keenum just puts the ball in his hands, instead throws it wide and well out of reach, had to settle for a field goal...

3rd & 3, late and high to an open quick, incomplete, almost got quick killed...

so tired of rams amateur hour offenses...
