I might get bashed for saying this but I do not want him around too much when we start playing in LA. He has always had a little venom toward the Rams for the way things ended with the change to Bulger. I think he views himself more as a Cardinal than Ram IMO. He recently said he can't wrap his head around being honored by the LA Rams. Eric Dickerson and Jack Youngblood had not problem coming to ST. Louis to be honored. Why is Kurt finding it awkward?

He has identified himself more as a Cardinal than a Ram. He always seems so disinterested when talking about the Rams as well. I don't think however they exclude him from participating, it'll all be up to him.

Kurt's a Ram whether he likes it or not. I mean he did win a SB, 2 MVP's and a SB MVP as a Ram...

Let's not be petty. We're talking about the "Greatest" Ram QB. He deserves a place in the team's ring of honor or whatever it will be called. Because it is the "Rams" ring of honor, NOT the "LA" Rams ring of honor.

He will like it soon enough. He does like the spotlight.

Yes...I was a huge Warner guy, and wanted him to win that Super Bowl with the Cards...But he has soured me to the memory of what I loved about him. It irked me when he would show up at Cardinal Preseason activities..he'd go train Kaep and only show up at our Camp in St Louis if he was stumping for his charity or HAVING to be there covering the Rams for NFLN.....

Don't want KW around? But, but, he's a HOF-er (or soon t be) and a former QB with a ring! And look at the wonders he did last off season by just being around Colin Kaepernick! Oh, wait a second there. . .

On a serious note, I'd welcome him, but not welcome him, so to speak -- like how you treat the not-favorite in-laws on the holidays. Sure, he can come over and I'll make him feel welcomed, but NWIH that I would send a private jet/car to go and pick him up sort of thing.

Why is Kurt finding it awkward?

Almost like he's playing politics, isn't it? Doesn't want to alienate someone who might watch him on TV or who might pay for an autograph.

[Edit: Wow, so I'm suggesting that maybe KW's like family?!? Hmmmmm. . . .]

I'm in no way saying I don't want Warner around or don't like him, that's rediculous for a Rams fan to think that way. I'm saying I don't know if he wants to be around the Rams.
